I want to be
His light,
I want to be
His love,
spread redemption's story
on Earth from heights above.
I want to be
His mercy,
I want to be
His grace,
show the Son’s reflection
so others see His face.
I want to be
His joy,
I want to be
His peace,
shine my Savior's presence
to those in deepest need.
I want to be
His feet,
I want to be
His hands,
share the living water
at home and distant lands.
I want to see
His pleasure,
I want to hear
His words,
“Yes, my child, well done,
now here's your great reward.”
Like JESUS,
I want to be.
JESUS. . .
I long to see.
